About
An independent SteamDB alternative
SteamRegistry is a community-run index of everything Steam publishes about its catalogue. It exists because SteamDB, the site people relied on for this data for over a decade, was taken over by Nexus Mods. We think the record of what Steam does should not belong to any single company, so we built one that doesn't.

What it records
- Every PICS changelist as Steam publishes it, with per-app diffs of builds, branches, depots and metadata.
- Player counts every ten minutes for busy games, with 24 hour and all-time peaks.
- Prices in 41 store regions, the lowest recorded price, current discounts and free promotions.
- Sale events, releases, game updates, reviews, news, achievements, trading cards and badges.
- Steam Deck verdicts, platform support and community tags.
How it works
A collector talks to Steam the same way the Steam client does, anonymously, and hands every change to the registry, which keeps the full history. Store, review and player data come from Steam's public web APIs. Nothing bypasses Steam's access controls, depot encryption or entitlements.
Free, and staying that way
SteamRegistry will never charge for any feature, and it will never run advertisements. There is no premium tier, no paywalled data, no sponsored placement and no tracking sold to anyone. It is free to use, in full, for everyone, and we will not sell out.
Who runs it
SteamRegistry is a subsidiary of Lambda Networks. It is an unofficial community project, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or owned by Valve Corporation. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
